FIGHT!
"Making Peace with the Piece"
So, anyways, at this point, it was 8AM and I was still unfinished, but showed Erik and Josh and they said that I suck---
I still want to put the "drips" with the teal background paint , shoot a clear coat and outline the entire thing again, but still finding the motivation to do that. I am pretty happy with it. I've made peace with it.

"Beware! A storm is coming!"
For me, it had passed.

I used to rarely be at peace with my work.
Now, it seems that I can see...
That it all turns out, exactly as it is supposed to.

As far as my "art history" goes, i think "drips" have been around since the birth of graffitti and the jackson pollack days. It probably went around as a trend because I bet a bunch of designers around the world, un-related to each other unknowingly lifted it from global art-scenes and added it as an element to their mass-marketed campaigns (ie. Urban Outfitters). But honestly, when people first started doin them, I've gotta tell you i was hooked, and it was fresh, but like all trends, they die, and this one has been done to death. Good lookin', though.
